How we process facial selfie photos

When you take or upload a selfie within the app, the photo is sent to Google Gemini (an AI service provided by Google) for processing. Gemini analyzes your facial features to suggest eyewear styles that may suit you. Your selfie photos may be stored securely in Google Firebase and Firestore on our behalf. Google Gemini processes the photo solely to generate style recommendations and does not use it to identify you.

For pupillary distance measurement, the app uses Apple's FaceID depth-sensing technology (ARFaceAnchor) on your device. This depth data is used only in the moment to calculate your measurement and is never saved or transmitted anywhere.
